Relay-interrupter for direction indicators and alarms (Chevrolet Niva 1 2002-2016: Electrical equipment: Lighting and appliances)

Relay-breaker K3 (see fig. 7-25) type 493.3747 or 495.3747, installed in the mounting block, is used to create an intermittent light signal for direction indicators both in alarm mode and in direction indication mode. In addition, it allows you to monitor the health of the direction indicator lamps. So, if one of the direction indicator lamps burns out, then the frequency of turning on and off cycles of the direction indicators doubles. The control lamp of indexes of turn at the same time also blinks with the doubled frequency.

The relay-interrupter must ensure the flashing of the direction indicator lamps at a frequency of 90±30 cycles per minute at an ambient temperature of -40°C to +65°C and a voltage of 10.8 to 15 V.
