Vacuum brake booster

Removal and installation. When removing the vacuum booster, the main cylinder of the hydraulic brake drive is not disconnected from the hydraulic system so that air does not enter it.

Withdrawal procedure:

• disconnect the pusher of the vacuum booster from the pedal;
• unscrew the nuts securing the master cylinder to the amplifier, remove it from the studs and set it aside;
• disconnect the hose from the amplifier;
• unscrew the nuts securing the vacuum booster to the bulkhead plate and remove the booster.

Install the vacuum booster in reverse order.
