Check the axial play of the brake disc without removing it from the vehicle (pic. 6-15). The largest allowable runout on the indicator is 0.15 mm; if the runout is greater, then the disc must be ground, but the final thickness of the disc after grinding should be more than 9.5 mm. In the event of damage or very deep scratches or wear exceeding 1 mm on each side, replace the disc with a new one.
