Withdrawal
Open the hood and disconnect the terminal «minus» from the battery.
Remove facing of a radiator.
Remove the air filter:
- loosen the clamp securing the intake pipe hose to the mass air flow sensor and disconnect the hose from the sensor;
- disconnect the wiring harness connector from the mass air flow sensor;
- unscrew the four bolts securing the front and rear air filter brackets to the car body and remove the air filter with the mass air flow sensor assembly.
Disconnect the plug from the sound device and remove the sound device assembly with the bracket.
Disconnect from the power steering heat exchanger hose 3 (pic. 8-73) low pressure and low pressure drain hose 1.
Pic. 8-73. Fastening hoses to the power steering heat exchanger:
1 - low pressure drain hose;
2 - hydraulic booster heat exchanger tube;
3 - low pressure hose.
Caution: When disconnecting hoses, use a container to drain fluid from hoses to prevent hydraulic fluid leakage.
Remove heat exchanger 3 (fig.8-74) power steering.
Fig.8-74. Removing the capacitor:
1 - capacitor mounting bolts;
2 - capacitor;
3 - power steering heat exchanger;
4 - condenser pipeline;
5 - injection pipeline.
Extract the refrigerant from the air conditioning system according to the documentation for the service equipment.
Disconnect from the condenser pipeline 5 forcing, pipeline 4 condenser and remove condenser 2.
Attention: install plugs in the piping and condenser openings to prevent compressor oil from leaking and dust and moisture particles from the air from entering the air conditioning system.
Installation
Install and secure the condenser, remove the plugs from the condenser openings and piping.
Install new sealing rings on the pipelines, lubricated with antifreeze oil, and fix the pipelines on the condenser: the tightening torque of the pipeline fastening bolts is 7... 9 Nm (0.7...0.9 kgf·m).
Install and secure the power steering heat exchanger.
Connect the low pressure hose and the low pressure drain hose to the heat exchanger.
Add hydraulic fluid to the oil tank of the power steering, following the recommendations outlined in subsection «Steering gear with hydraulic booster».
Install and secure the audio device, connect the plug of the wiring harness to the audio device.
Install and secure the air filter.
Install and secure the cooling system radiator grille.
Attach terminal "minus" to the battery.
Charge the air conditioning system with refrigerant according to the documentation for the service equipment.
Warning. It is strictly forbidden to carry out refueling through the high pressure pipeline (red service hose) with the engine running and the air conditioner on. To prevent damage to refueling equipment or personal injury, refuel with the engine running and the A/C on only through the low pressure line (blue service hose). All work with refrigerant should be carried out with protective glasses.
Bleed the power steering system following the recommendations set out in subsection «Steering gear with hydraulic booster».
