Diagnostics of the air conditioning system

This manual is designed to diagnose and effectively resolve the most common possible problems with the air conditioning system installed on the vehicle.

Diagnosis is based on current pressure readings in the air conditioning system. If readings are outside the ranges shown in Table 8-3 (reference table of pressure readings), the system is probably faulty.

Below are the most likely causes of failures based on low or high pressure gauge readings. The figure shows the pressure gauge reading with a significant deviation from the norm.
