During the operation of the car, the coating on the bottom of the body is exposed to gravel, sand, salt, moisture. As a result, the mastic and soil are damaged and erased. Bare metal corrodes.

In case of damage to the D-11A plastisol coating without disturbing the soil layer, clean the damaged areas from dirt and apply Merkasol 845 AL mastic 1.5 mm thick on a dry surface with an airless spray or brush. Dry the coating in natural conditions within a day or at a temperature of 90°C for 30 minutes.

In case of significant damage to the protective coating with damage to the primer layer, clean the damaged areas of the surface from dirt and rust to the metal and apply the primary primer to the dry, degreased surface. Apply Merkasol 845 AL mastic to the primed surface with a brush.

If the life of the car does not exceed 1-1.5 years, the overlap of the new layer of mastic over the old one should be minimal. For longer operation of a car with this underbody coating, apply the mastic over the entire surface of the underbody and wheel arches.

In the cold season, before use, keep the mastic in a warm room until the temperature rises below 20°C. In case of mastic thickening, dilute it with xylene, but not more than 3%.

Clean the paintwork from contamination with mastic with a rag soaked in white spirit.
