Elimination of corrosion of welded joints, flanges, joints of body parts

Clean the area to be repaired of dirt, rinse with water.

Wipe the surface dry.

Raised burrs, sharp edges, weld spatter (in the presence of), as well as peeled and swollen paintwork and visible corrosion, carefully remove with a sanding tool, without damaging adjacent painted areas.

Remove sanding dust.

Treat bare metal areas and stubborn corrosion with a rag soaked in the transducer "AntiOxy".

Allow 3 to 5 minutes of exposure, keeping the surfaces to be treated wet with the composition "AntiOxy".

Remove with a rag soaked in the transducer "AntiOxy", corrosion products in the form of plaque on adjacent painted areas. Remove rust deposits carefully, avoiding contact with the undamaged paintwork.

Rinse treated surfaces with water, blow with compressed air, dry naturally.

Degrease the treated areas of the connection of body parts (hemming, welded joint), apply a primer, then a coat of joint compound, type Terokal 8021-52, body-coloured enamel, from among the materials used in the painting area. Dry the primer, joint mastic and enamel with an infrared lamp.

Treat hidden sections with Merkasol 831 ML or Mercasol Transparent ML or Non Drip Transparent anti-corrosion protective material, and non-visible painted surfaces with Merkasol 845 AL.
