We carry out work to replace the valve or when dismantling the intake manifold support bracket.
A malfunctioning canister purge solenoid valve can cause unstable engine idling, increased toxicity of exhaust gases and reduced fuel efficiency.
Pulling the rubber tip of the tube connecting the valve to the adsorber, remove the tip of the tube from the valve fitting.
From the other fitting of the solenoid valve, remove the tip of the tube connecting the valve to the intake manifold.
With the ignition off, depressing the latch of the wiring harness block of the engine management system..
... disconnect the block of the wiring harness of the engine management system from the valve connector.
From the hole in the valve bracket, we take out the retainer of the wire of the oil pressure sensor in the engine.
Using the "12" head, unscrew the bolt securing the valve bracket to the generator bracket..
... and remove the bracket assembly with the valve (the arrow indicates the valve retainer in the bracket).
Prying the retainer, remove the valve from the bracket.
Install the canister purge solenoid valve in reverse order.
