We remove the low oil pressure sensor to check and replace it, as well as if an oil leak occurs at the junction of the sensor and the oil pump housing.
Squeezing the clamp of the wire block..
... disconnect the block from the sensor.
With a high "24" head, we unscrew the low oil pressure sensor..
...and take it off.
The connection between the sensor and the oil pump housing is sealed with a copper washer.
If the sealing washer is severely deformed or worn, replace it. When installing the sensor, we screw it into the threaded hole in the oil pump housing by hand and tighten it with a tool. Connect the wire block to the sensor.
