Replacing the windshield wiper blades

We replace the brushes when the quality of the windshield cleaning deteriorates, about once a year - better before the start of the autumn-winter period.

The length of both windshield wiper blades is the same and is 480 mm (around 19'). Brushes should be washed periodically under the tap with warm water and soap. If the brushes are heavily soiled or covered with ice, they should be removed and cleaned.

To do this, remove the lever with the brush from the windshield.

Be careful when removing the brushes: the lever under the action of the spring can drop sharply on the glass and split it.

We shift the brush from the lever hook so that the brush lock comes out of the hook, and remove the brush from the lever.

If you need to replace the brush retainer, move it off the brush axis and remove it.

Remove the other windshield wiper blade in the same way. Install brushes in reverse order.
