Replacing the alternator drive belt

In accordance with the maintenance regulations, we replace the alternator drive belt every 60 thousand kilometers of the run. The belt must also be replaced if, during the inspection of its condition, cracks, tears and delamination of rubber from the fabric base are detected.

We loosen the tightening of the nut securing the generator to the tension bar and the nuts of the bolts of the lower mounting of the generator. By moving the alternator to the cylinder block..
