Replacing a bulb in a fog lamp

We carry out the work on the left headlight, on the right headlight we change the lamp in the same way, but first you need to remove the bumper mudguard (see Removing the mudguards).



Rotate counterclockwise..



... and remove the protective cover of the headlight.



We take out the block of wires from the headlight housing (for clarity shown on the removed headlight).



Disconnect the lamp wire end from the wire block.



By pressing the ends of the spring retainer, we disengage them from the hooks of the reflector and remove the retainer from the lamp.



Remove the bulb from the headlight housing.

The fog lamp is halogen.

You should not touch its glass bulb with your fingers, as traces of them will lead to a darkening of the lamp when heated.

You can remove contamination from the flask with a clean rag soaked in alcohol.

Install the new H3 bulb in reverse order.
