We remove the starter for repair or replacement when it fails, as well as when dismantling the engine.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.
In the engine bay..
... with a "12" head, unscrew the nut that secures the tip of the "mass" wire to the special bolt of the starter’s upper mount and remove the wire tip from the special bolt.
Using the "13" head, unscrew the special bolt of the starter upper mount.
Under the car..
... using the "12" key, we unscrew the nut that secures the tip of the wire connected to the "positive" terminal of the battery.
We remove the wire tip from the contact bolt of the traction relay.
With a "10" head, we unscrew the nut that secures the tip of the traction relay control wire..
... and disconnect the wire tip.
Using the "13" head, unscrew the special bolt of the lower starter mount.
We remove the starter.
Install the starter in reverse order.
