We remove the generator for repair or replacement if it fails.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.
Remove the alternator drive belt (see Replacing the alternator drive belt) and completely unscrew the bolt securing the generator to the adjusting bar.
Having pressed the lock of the block, we disconnect the block of wires from the generator.
Using the "12" key, we unscrew the nut securing the wire tip to the "BAT" terminal of the generator..
... and disconnect the wire.
We turn the generator around the bolts of the lower fastening to the front panel.
Using the "12" wrench, unscrew the nuts of the bolts of the lower mounting of the generator, holding the bolts from turning with the second "12" wrench.
Holding the generator, remove the bolts..
... and remove the generator from the engine compartment.
Install the generator in reverse order.
At the same time, do not finally tighten the nuts and the generator mounting bolt.
We install the alternator drive belt and, after adjusting its tension, finally tighten the nuts and the alternator fastening bolt to the prescribed torque.
