The airbag must also be removed to access the horn switches and for any work involving the removal of the steering wheel.
Before removing the airbag, disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery and wait at least 10 minutes for the airbag activator capacitor to discharge.
Set the steering wheel to the position of the rectilinear movement of the car.
Prying off with a screwdriver, remove the plug on the steering wheel.
With the Torx key "TR-50" we unscrew the screw securing the airbag.
Similarly, we unscrew the screw securing the pillow on the other side of the steering wheel.
Raise the airbag wiring connector.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the airbag.
