Instrument cluster: 1 - control lamps; 2 - instrument illumination lamps; 3 - tachometer fastening screws; 4 - self-tapping screws for fastening the speedometer; 5 - self-tapping screws for fastening the coolant temperature and fuel level indicators.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.
Removing steering column covers (see Removing the Paddles, Coiled Cable Drum and Switch Connector).
We unscrew the screws for fastening the heating, ventilation and air conditioning control unit and lower the unit without disconnecting the rods and wire blocks from it (see Removing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning control unit).
Through the hole in which the heating, ventilation and air conditioning control unit is installed..
... with a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the instrument panel lining.
We pry off the switch of the headlight beam direction regulator with a screwdriver..
... and remove the switch from the instrument panel.
By pressing the lock of the block, we disconnect the block of wires from the switch.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the instrument panel lining.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the instrument panel lining.
Removing the instrument panel..
... and disconnect the wire blocks from the fog light switch in the rear light, the clock and the alarm switch.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the instrument cluster.
We display the combination from the instrument panel..
... and by pressing the block lock, we disconnect the block of wires for the coolant temperature and fuel level indicators from the combination.
Similarly, we disconnect the speedometer wire block from the combination..
... and a tachometer wire block.
To replace the backlight or control lamp, turn the lamp socket counterclockwise..
... and remove the cartridge with the lamp from the socket in the circuit board of the instrument cluster.
Remove the green light filter from the backlight.
We take out the lamp from the socket.
Install new bulbs in reverse order.
We put light filters on the instrument illumination lamps.
To remove appliances..
... with your finger, in turn, squeeze out the four transparent glass retainers from the bottom of the combination..
...and three latches on top of the combination..
... and remove the glass.
Similarly, we squeeze the three latches of the lining on top of the combination..
... and four latches at the bottom of the combination..
... and remove the instrument cluster trim.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the speedometer.
Remove the speedometer from the instrument cluster housing.
If necessary, similarly, by unscrewing the fastening screws, we remove the remaining devices.
We assemble and install the instrument cluster in reverse order.
