After over 120,000 miles
km or 5 years of car operation (whichever comes first) it is desirable to carry out a forced replacement of the hoses of both brake mechanisms of the front wheels.
We remove the front wheel and securely fix the car on a factory-made stand.
penetrating liquid
Before unscrewing the fitting of the brake pipe from the upper tip of the hose with a metal brush, we clean the place of their connection from dirt and corrosion and apply a penetrating liquid to it.
Using a special "10" wrench for the brake pipe fittings, unscrew the brake pipe fitting, holding the upper tip of the hose with the "19" wrench.
Disconnect the tube from the hose.
To avoid leaks of brake fluid, we put a rubber cap on the brake bleeder fitting on the tip of the tube.
Using a screwdriver, we move the locking bracket of the brake hose tip..
...and take it off.
Using the "12" head, unscrew the bolt fitting that secures the lower tip of the brake hose to the caliper.
Remove the front brake hose.
The connection of the lower tip of the front brake hose is sealed with two copper washers.
Install the front wheel brake hose in reverse order, replacing the two copper washers.
When installing the hose, make sure that it is not twisted.
To do this, a red longitudinal strip is applied to the hose.
