Disconnect the wire tip from the lock limit switch.
Turning the latch, disconnect the lock drive rod from the lever of the lock cylinder mechanism.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the lock to the trunk lid.
We remove the lock together with the thrust.
With the "10" head, we unscrew the two nuts securing the bracket of the cylinder mechanism of the lock to the trunk lid..
... and take out the mechanism along with the bracket. Removing the rear panel trim (see Removing the rear bumper)
We mark the position of the lock latch bracket relative to the back panel.
With a head or a "10" key, we unscrew the two bolts securing the lock latch bracket to the rear panel. We take out the latch of the trunk lock through the window in the rear panel.
We remove the tip of the sheath of the lock drive cable from the holder on the latch bracket.
Disconnect the tip of the cable from the lever and remove the latch.
Install the trunk lock and lock latch in reverse order.
