Removal of an upholstery of a back door

We carry out the work when replacing the power window, glass, door lock, outer and inner door handles.



Pry off the plastic cover on the back door..



... remove the lining, overcoming the resistance of the clamps.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the self-tapping screw securing the lining in the door armrest.




We remove the cladding.



With a slotted screwdriver, gently wring out the window handle and insert a hook-shaped device into the hole formed.



Grabbing the spring lock of the handle with a hook, remove it.



For clarity, we show the operation on the removed handle.




Remove the handle and socket from the shaft.



Putting a rag under the slotted screwdriver, pry the decorative frame of the inner door handle.



We remove the frame, overcoming the resistance of the clamps.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the upholstery.




We separate the door upholstery from the inner panel, overcoming the resistance of six caps.

Install upholstery in reverse order.
