We remove the control oxygen concentration sensor for replacement, as well as when replacing the engine exhaust manifold.
We dismantle the sensor with the ignition off.
We shift from the plastic holder, fixed on the bracket, the block of the wiring harness of the engine control system.
By pressing the latch of the block of the wiring harness of the engine management system, we disconnect the block of the sensor wiring harness from it.
Removing the exhaust manifold heat shield (see Removing the catalytic converter).
Open-end wrench "22" turn off the control oxygen concentration sensor (the standard ring wrench cannot be used due to the small gap between the sensor hex and the manifold flange).
If the open-end wrench failed to unscrew the sensor..
... we turn it off with the help of a tubular key "by 22".
We take out the control oxygen concentration sensor.
Install the oxygen concentration sensor in reverse order. So that during the operation of the car the sensor does not "stick" to the manifold, before installing the sensor on its threaded part, we apply a thin layer of anti-seize high-temperature additive based on graphite.
