Relieve pressure in the power system (see Fuel filter replacement). Disconnect the wiring harness pads of the engine control system from the phase sensor (see Removing the phase sensor), intake manifold absolute pressure sensor (see Removal of the gauge of absolute pressure of air in the inlet pipeline) and idle speed control unit and throttle position sensor (see Removing the throttle assembly).
By pressing a screwdriver on the spring clip of the wiring harness block..
... remove the block from the nozzle connector.
Similarly, we disconnect the blocks of the wiring harness of the engine control system from other injectors.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the fuel rail.
We remove the tip of the canister purge valve tube from the inlet pipe fitting and move the tube away from the ramp.
By pressing the latch of the fuel pipe tip..
... remove the tip of the tube from the ramp nozzle.
With a 12 spanner wrench, we unscrew two nuts, and with a 10 wrench, two bolts securing the intake manifold bracket..
... and remove the bracket.
Using the "12" head, unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel rail to the intake manifold.
We shift the fuel rail along the axes of the injectors and, overcoming the resistance of the injector sealing rings..
... remove the nozzles from the openings of the intake manifold.
Remove the fuel rail with injectors.
To remove the injector..
... pry off the latch with a slotted screwdriver..
...and take it off.
Remove the injector tip from the fuel rail pipe.
Prying with a thin slotted screwdriver..
... remove the nozzle o-rings.
Remove the other injectors in the same way. We replace the sealing rings of the injectors with new ones. Before installing the injectors in the rail and inlet pipeline, apply a thin layer of engine oil to the o-rings.
We assemble and install the fuel rail with injectors in the reverse order.
