We remove the adsorber to check or replace it if the tightness of its body is broken (can be determined by the presence of the smell of gasoline and by visual inspection). We turn off a bolt of fastening of an arm of a filler pipe and a ventilating pipe (see Removing the fill pipe).
With the "10" head, we unscrew the bolt securing the canister casing to the bracket of the bottom of the body..
... and, moving the adsorber along the guides, we lower it on the tubes.
By pressing the latch, disconnect the tip of the tube for removing fuel vapors from the adsorber to the purge valve from the adsorber fitting.
Similarly, we disconnect from the other fitting the tip of the vapor supply pipe to the adsorber from the fuel tank.
Squeezing the ends of the atmospheric tube clamp with pliers, we move it along the tube..
... and remove the tube from the adsorber fitting.
If necessary, cutting two disposable plastic clamps that secure the adsorber to its casing, remove the adsorber from the casing.
We install the adsorber in the reverse order.
