To avoid burns, it is recommended to start work after the exhaust system has cooled down.
Before starting work, we clean the threads of two studs in the connection of the pipe flanges of the main and second additional mufflers with a metal brush and moisten the threaded part of the studs with a penetrating liquid.
With a "14" head, we unscrew the two nuts of the stud bolts for fastening the pipe flanges of the main and second additional mufflers.
We shift down the pipe flange of the second additional muffler from the studs of the pipe flange of the main muffler, overcoming the resistance of the suspension cushions of the exhaust system.
We derive the brackets of the main muffler from the hole in the pillows of its suspension (Replacement of pillows of a suspension bracket of system of release of the fulfilled gases).
We remove the main muffler, transferring its pipe through the rear suspension subframe.
Remove the gasket from the main muffler pipe flange studs.
Using the "13" wrench, we unscrew the two nuts of the clamp for attaching the nozzle of the main muffler.
We remove the nozzle of the main muffler and the clamp of its fastening.
If the rubber cushions have lost elasticity, have tears, then they should be replaced.
We install a new gasket in the connection of the pipe flanges of the main and second additional mufflers.
We mount the main silencer in the reverse order.
