1 - signaling device for malfunction of the TCS traction control system (installed on car parts) lights up yellow when the ignition is turned on (key in ON position) and should burn for about 3 seconds, after which it goes out. If the TCS is activated while driving, this warning light will flash. If it lights up spontaneously while driving or does not go out after the ignition is turned on, this indicates a malfunction of this system and the need to contact a service station to eliminate the malfunction;
2 - anti-lock braking system malfunction indicator (ABS) lights up yellow when the ignition is switched on and should be on for about 3 seconds, after which it goes out. If the warning light does not come on after the ignition is turned on, or if it is on (flashing) when the vehicle is moving, it means that there is a malfunction in the system. in this case, it is necessary to contact the service station for troubleshooting;
3 - tachometer (engine speed indicator). shows the current engine speed when the engine is running. after starting a cold engine, the arrow is set between values 1 and 2 (crankshaft speed is approximately 1250 min-1) and as the engine warms up, it drops below value 1, i.e., to the idle speed of the crankshaft (about 750 min-1);
Do not allow the engine to operate in such modes in which the tachometer needle is in the red sector of the scale (i.e. the maximum permissible crankshaft speed of 6500 min-1 has been exceeded). This can lead to engine damage.
4 - the signaling device for turning on the left turn indicators lights up with a flashing green light when the left turn indicators are turned on and when the alarm is turned on;
5 - speedometer (vehicle speed indicator);
6 - signaling device for turning on the right turn indicators lights up with a flashing green light when the right turn indicators are turned on and when the alarm is turned on;
7 - fuel level indicator in the fuel tank: 0 - empty tank, 1/2 - the tank is about half filled with fuel; 1 - full tank. when the ignition is off, the pointer arrow drops to the value 0 (this is not a malfunction). When the ignition is turned on, the pointer needle after 1-2 seconds is set at the current fuel level in the tank. when the remaining fuel is about 6 liters, the fuel reserve indicator lights up (15);
This indicator has a relatively high measurement error, so it can only be used to judge fuel consumption indirectly. You can accurately measure the fuel consumption of your car only with the use of special equipment at a service station or at a car test site.
8 - engine coolant temperature gauge. If the pointer arrow has moved to the red sector of the scale, this means that the coolant temperature has exceeded the allowable threshold (about 115°C), and the engine overheats. In this case, stop the car as soon as possible, turn off the air conditioner (if it was enabled) and let the engine idle for a while (you can turn on the heating system by setting the temperature controller to the highest temperature and the fan to the maximum speed). After a while, turn off the engine, let it cool down and try to start it again. If the temperature of the coolant starts to rise rapidly again and exceeds the permissible threshold, you should not continue driving the car. Try to diagnose and fix the problem yourself, or call a technical assistance vehicle or a tow truck to have your car transported to a service station for repair;
Do not allow the engine to run in overheating mode - this can lead to its emergency breakdowns. Never open the hood of a car with an overheated engine, if steam is coming out from under the hood - you can get burns to your face and hands. Regularly (at least every 1000 km) check the coolant level in the expansion tank and top it up if necessary by adding coolant (cold engine only).
9 - the signaling device for turning on the fog lights lights up in green when the fog lights are turned on;
10 - the signaling device for turning on the fog light lamps in the rear lights lights up in orange when the fog light lamps in the rear lights are turned on;
The fog lights in the taillights are very bright and can dazzle drivers of vehicles driving behind you. Always turn off the fog lights in the rear lights when they are not needed.
11 - the headlight high beam signaling device lights up in blue when the high beam headlights are turned on, including for a short time - when the high beam flashes;
12 - the malfunction indicator of one or more airbags should flash red several times when the ignition is turned on. If the signaling device does not blink, or is constantly on after several blinks, or blinks or is on constantly while the engine is running, this indicates a malfunction of the system and the need to immediately contact the service station for diagnostics and repair;
Driving with a defective airbag system exposes the driver and passengers to extreme danger as the airbag system may not deploy in the event of an accident.
13 - the engine control system malfunction indicator lights up in orange when the ignition is turned on and during starter operation and goes out after the engine is started. If the indicator stays on after the engine is started, or lights up briefly and then goes out, or stays on while the engine is running, this indicates a malfunction in the engine management system. This does not require an immediate stop of the car and turning off the engine, unless otherwise indicated (overheating, uneven operation of the engine, reduction in its power, etc.), since the electronic control unit can switch to redundant (bypass) operating modes. However, in order to diagnose a malfunction and eliminate it, it is necessary to contact a service station as soon as possible. After the malfunction has been eliminated, the indicator should go out after the engine is started;
14 - signaling device of insufficient (emergency) engine oil pressure indicator lights up red when the ignition is switched on and goes out after the engine is started. If the indicator lights up while the engine is running, it indicates insufficient pressure in the engine lubrication system. In this case, stop the engine and check the oil level in the engine sump. When the level is below the minimum value (MIN·marks on the dipstick) add oil and start the engine again. If the indicator continues to burn, it is necessary to stop the engine, try to determine the cause of the malfunction (see Troubleshooting) and eliminate it if possible. If this fails, you need to contact the service station. Engine operation when the low power indicator light is on (emergency) engine oil pressure is not allowed;
When the engine is running, a small flow is allowed (production, waste) engine oil, which is not a malfunction. It is recommended to check the oil level in the engine crankcase at least every 1000 km (see Maintenance). The oil level must not be below the MIN·mark and above the MAX mark on the dipstick. Top up only with the same oil that is currently filled in the engine. Add oil in small portions, as it will be difficult to remove excess oil.
15 - the fuel reserve indicator lights up in orange when approximately 6 liters of fuel remain in the tank (approximately 30-50 km of run). In this case, it is necessary to refuel the car with fuel as soon as possible, without allowing it to run out completely (engine stop), as this may damage the high pressure fuel pump and catalytic converter;
16 - button to reset the daily run. By briefly pressing this button, you can change the indication on the odometer display in the following order: odometer - daily mileage counter A - daily mileage counter B and then in a circle. Pressing and holding the reset button while the trip is being displayed will reset the counter to zero (regardless of the second). It is not recommended to use this button while the car is moving;
17 - display of the odometer and daily mileage counters (on vehicles with manual transmission);
18 - the signaling device for applying the parking brake and a malfunction of the brake system lights up in red when the parking brake is applied. After the parking brake is released (lowering the lever) this indicator should turn off. If it continues to burn, this indicates an insufficient fluid level in the brake and clutch fluid reservoir;
19 - the indicator of the unfastened driver's seat belt lights up red when the ignition is turned on, if the driver has not fastened his seat belt; at the same time, a special sound signal is also activated for 6 seconds;
20 - the signaling device for the absence of a battery charge lights up in red when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine is started. If the indicator remains on or turns on when the vehicle is moving, this may indicate insufficient tension or a broken accessory drive belt (refer to Accessory Drive Belt Replacement). Check the tension or replace the belt yourself, or contact a service station to eliminate this malfunction. If the belt is in good condition and sufficiently tensioned, then a malfunction has occurred in the battery charge circuit. To eliminate it, you should also contact the service station;
Operating the vehicle with the low battery warning indicator on can lead to failures of the on-board electrical equipment, and operating the engine with an insufficiently tensioned auxiliary drive belt can also lead to the failure of the power steering.
21 - the door open indicator lights up red if one of the doors is open or not completely closed. If there is a key in the ignition, a warning chime will sound when the driver's door is open or not fully closed;
22 - indicator of the inclusion of the mode of fixing the transfer (by car with automatic transmission). Lights up yellow when the ignition is turned on for 2-3 seconds (then goes off), or if this mode is activated (HOLD button pressed). When you turn off the lock mode, the indicator should turn off. If it blinks, this indicates a malfunction of this function and the need to contact a service station for repair;
23 - signaling device for a malfunction of the power steering system with variable gain (installed on car parts). Lights up yellow when the ignition is switched on and goes out after about 3 seconds. If this signaling device does not light up when the ignition is turned on, or does not go out, or lights up while the car is moving, this indicates a malfunction of this system and the need to contact a service station for repair;
24 - signaling device for an open trunk lid (in a sedan car) lights up yellow if the trunk lid is not closed.
Automatic car odometer
On vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, the odometer contains an indication of the operating mode of the automatic transmission and - when changing gears - on (current) transmission (shown by arrow). The button for resetting the trip meters functions similarly to the same button in the instrument cluster of a car with a manual transmission.
