The location of the power window buttons on the inner panel of the driver's door: 1 - power window key of the left rear door; 2 — a key of an electrowindow lifter of a door of the driver; 3 - button for blocking the power windows of all doors, except for the driver's; 4 — a key of an electrowindow regulator of the right forward door; 5 - power window key of the right rear door
The vehicle may be equipped with power windows for the front or all doors (except hatchback and station wagon tailgate) with electric drive. In some configurations, only the front doors are equipped with power windows, and mechanical windows are used on the rear doors. The power windows can only be used when the ignition is on.
When installing power windows for all doors, the driver has the ability to control the raising / lowering of the windows of all doors from his seat.
On the inner panel of any other door, there is a power window button for this door only (right front door shown)
In order to lower the glass of any of the doors, you should press the front edge of the corresponding button - on this door or on the driver's door. To raise the glass, you need to pull the front edge of the key up with your finger. The glass will stop at the position where you release the key.
It should be remembered that the windows of the rear doors do not go down completely. When the window stops in the extreme lower or upper position, release the power window button.
The power window on the driver's door has an automatic window down function. To do this, press the key of this power window with some force and release it. The driver's door glass will lower completely. If you need to stop the glass in any position, press the key again.
The driver can lock the power windows of all doors from his seat by pressing the appropriate button. The power window on the driver's door is not blocked, and it can be used normally.
When using the power window, be careful not to put body parts or clothing between the glass and the door frame, as this may cause pinching and injury. Do not allow children to use the power windows unsupervised while the vehicle is in motion.
Please note that when driving with «diagonally» open windows (e.g. left front and right rear) drafts may occur in the cabin, which can cause a cold for the driver and / or passengers.
The design of power windows does not provide for the automatic lifting of all windows when the driver leaves the car and the central lock is turned on. Remember to close all windows before leaving the car and leaving it in the parking lot. Leaving the windows open makes it easier for theft of things from the passenger compartment and theft of the car.
If there are passengers in the parking lot in your car (adults), When leaving, leave the ignition key with them so that they can use the power windows if necessary.
