Removing the rear audio system speakers

We are working on replacing speakers.

The speakers are installed in the rear doors.

To replace the speaker, remove the upholstery of the rear door (see Removal of an upholstery of a back door).



Pressing the lock of the wiring harness block, disconnect it from the speaker wiring block.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the speaker.



We remove the speaker with a spacer.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws



and remove the speaker from the spacer.

Remove the speaker wire block from the spacer.

Install the speaker in reverse order.
