Removing the condenser and air conditioner receiver

We remove the capacitor and receiver for replacement when they fail.

Before starting work, it is necessary to discharge the coding system. The air conditioning system must be discharged or charged with refrigerant at specialized air conditioning services.

Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.

Removing the cooling system radiator (see Removing the radiator).



With a "10" head, unscrew the nut...... and disconnect the tip of the tube from the receiver.



Remove the sealing ring.



We turn off the "10" head...... and disconnect the hose tip from the condenser.




Remove the sealing ring from the hose end.



Remove the capacitor from the receiver.



Using an 8 spanner wrench, we loosen the tightening bolt of the receiver mounting bracket.



With a "10" spanner, we unscrew the bolt and, by sliding the receiver down, disconnect it from the tip of the tube.




Remove the sealing ring from the tube end.

We take out the receiver from the bracket on the condenser.

Install the receiver and capacitor in reverse order.

We replace sealing rings with new ones. We charge the air conditioning system at a specialized station.
