Before starting work, it is necessary to discharge the coding system. The air conditioning system must be discharged or charged with refrigerant at specialized air conditioning services.
Removing the instrument panel (see Removing the instrument panel).
With a "10" head, we unscrew the bolt securing the heater to the front panel (hoses from the fuel line and canister tubes are disconnected for clarity).
Disconnect the two pipes of the air conditioning system from the gearbox (see Removing the heater).
With a "10" head, unscrew the two heater mounting bolts.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws
and remove the part of the heater in which the heater fan and evaporator are located.
Remove the gasket from the side of the front panel.
We remove the gasket from the side of the cabin.
Loosen the four screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
We remove the cover and take out the filter of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the seven screws on one side
and six self-tapping screws on the other side of the case.
Divide the body into two parts
and take out the evaporator.
We take out the tray for collecting condensate.
Install the evaporator in reverse order. We replace torn or loose sealing rings with new ones.
We charge the air conditioning system at a specialized station.
