To remove the manual transmission control cables, do the following.
1. Disconnect the rear ends of the cables from the pin and pivot of the gear lever (see «Removal and installation of the hinge of the lever of management of a transmission»).
2. Remove the tip of the shift cable from the axle of the shift lever.
3. Take a tip of a cover of a cable from a cut of an arm on a transmission.
4. Disconnect the second shift cable in the same way.
5. Take a tip of a cover of a cable from a cut of an arm on a transmission.
6. Remove the shift cables through the hole in the bulkhead shield between the passenger compartment and the engine compartment.
7. Install the manual transmission control cables and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
