2. Disconnect the supply hose from the valve fitting.
3. Remove the valve from the holder.
4. While pressing the spring clip, disconnect the harness connector from the valve connector.
5. Disconnect the outlet hose from the valve fitting and remove the valve.
This is how the canister purge solenoid valve removed from the car looks like. Pay attention to its marking so that when replacing, install the same valve.
6. To check the valve, attach a medical syringe to the inlet fitting of the valve (it is used as a pump). Push the syringe plunger into the valve to pressurize (it will be felt by the desire of the syringe plunger to return to its original position).
7. Then connect a 12 V DC source to the valve terminals, the valve should open and the pressure should disappear (the plunger of the syringe will drown without resistance until it stops). Otherwise, replace the valve.
8. Install the canister purge valve in the reverse order of removal.
