You will need a key «at 12».
1. Drain the liquid from the engine cooling system (see «Coolant replacement»).
2. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a supporting bracket (see «Replacing the cylinder head gasket»).
3. Remove the throttle assembly (see «Removal and installation of the throttle assembly»).
4. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the injectors, the absolute pressure sensor in the intake pipe and the air temperature sensor in the intake pipe (see «Removal and installation of the fuel rail»).
5. Remove the fuel rail (see «Removal and installation of the fuel rail»).
6. Disconnect the hose from the fitting of the valve for changing the geometry of the inlet pipe (see «Checking and replacing the pneumatic chamber of the inlet pipe damper drive»).
7. Turn out two nuts of fastening hairpins and disconnect a tube from the valve of recirculation of the fulfilled gases (valve removed for clarity).
8. Remove the two bolts securing the recirculation valve tube to the intake manifold, take the tube aside...
9.... and replace the tube gasket.
10. Turn away a nut of fastening of an arm of the pipeline of the hydraulic booster of a steering...
11.... move the bracket to the side..
12.... and turn out a hairpin of the top fastening of the generator.
13. Turn away a nut of fastening of an arm of the generator (shown by arrow), two stud nuts and seven intake pipe-to-cylinder head bolts in the order shown in fig. 5.6 (for clarity, this operation is shown on the removed cylinder head). Remove the alternator upper mounting bracket and intake pipe from the vehicle.
14. Remove the gaskets of the throttle assembly and the inlet pipe flange and replace them with new ones.
15. Tighten bolts and nuts of fastening of an inlet collector to a head of the block of cylinders in the order shown in fig. 5.7, torque 25 Nm.
16. Reinstall all removed parts in reverse order.
