Checking the level and topping up the fluid in the power steering reservoir

You will need: power steering fluid, clean rag.

Note: Add Dexron II or Dexron III fluid recommended by the manufacturer to the power steering reservoir.

The tank is installed on the car body in the right side of the engine compartment.

Note: Check the power steering fluid level with the engine off.

1. Turn the power steering reservoir cap counterclockwise...



2....and remove it.



3. Wipe the fluid level indicator on the power steering reservoir cap with a clean rag and tighten the cap



4. Remove the power steering reservoir cap again. The fluid level must be between the marks «MIN» And «MAX».



5. If the level of the working fluid approaches the mark «MIN» or below it, add working fluid.



6. Replace the cap and wipe up any spilled liquid.
