Headlight beam leveling A is electrically operated and allows you to smoothly change the headlight range according to the vehicle load. This avoids blinding drivers of oncoming and passing vehicles. At the same time, the correct adjustment of the headlights improves visibility for the driver.
Headlight range adjustment has four positions (0, 1, 2, 3) and is only possible when the low beam is on.
The positions of the knob roughly correspond to the following boot states:
- 0 - one driver or driver and passenger in the front seat;
- 1 - all seats are occupied, the trunk is empty;
- 2 - only the driver's seat is occupied, the trunk is fully loaded, operation with a trailer at maximum load on the towbar (for models with mounted towbar);
- 3 - all seats are occupied, the trunk is fully loaded, operation with a trailer with a small load on the hitch.
