Determination of the causes of this malfunction requires special diagnostic equipment, so in this case, contact a service station that specializes in repairing cars with fuel injection systems.
However, it should be noted that most often this malfunction is caused by a failure of the throttle position sensor installed in the throttle assembly cover, contamination of the damper itself, or foreign air infiltration through loose hose connections connected to the intake pipe. If cleaning the throttle body or tightening the hose clamps fails to restore idling, contact a specialist to replace the throttle position sensor or replace the throttle assembly (see «Removal and installation of the throttle assembly»).
