You will need: key «at 13» and a special key «at 11» for brake lines.
Four brake hoses are used on a car: two (rear) - for connecting pipelines to the working cylinders of the rear brake mechanisms and two (front) - for connecting pipelines to the working cylinders of the front brake mechanisms.
Helpful Hint: Always use special wrenches to loosen pipeline nuts, as the nuts are heavily tightened and usually corroded, as a result of which, when using ordinary wrenches, the edges of the nuts are crushed.
Note: Operation is shown with the right front hose as an example. The rear hoses, similar in design to the front ones, are replaced by the same methods.
1. For convenience, remove the front wheel from the side of the hose to be replaced.
2. Remove the intermediate hose end attached to the shock absorber bracket.
3. Turn away a nut of fastening of the brake pipeline to a forward brake hose..
4.... and disconnect the hose.
Helpful Hint: To prevent complete leakage of fluid from the hydraulic drive, immediately plug the opening of the pipeline in any way possible. Protective valve caps for venting valves are very well suited for this purpose.
5. Turn out a bolt fitting of fastening of the bottom tip of a hose to the working cylinder of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel...
6.... and remove the hose.
Note the two copper sealing washers located on either side of the hose tip. When assembling, replace these washers with new ones.
7. Install the new hose in the reverse order of removal.
Warning: Make sure that the hose is not twisted when installing along the axis.
8. Replace the second front hose in the same way.
9. After replacing the hoses, bleed the air from the brake system (see «Brake Fluid Replacement»).
