Warning: Although the o-rings may look the same on the outside, only o-rings recommended for air conditioning systems should be used. Otherwise, refrigerant leakage may occur in the connection.
Install new o-rings from A/C repair kits every time you disassemble connections, unless o-rings are supplied with new parts.
When replacing an o-ring in a dismountable joint, carefully determine the design of the fitting to determine the correct type and size of the o-ring.
Before installation, check that neither O-ring A nor fitting B is damaged or deformed. Deformed or damaged parts must be replaced. When installing new O-rings, be sure to lubricate them with A/C compressor oil. Failure to follow the recommendations for removing and installing system components can lead to refrigerant leakage during the operation of the air conditioner.
