Helpful Hint: The hood is quite heavy and bulky, so have an assistant remove and install it.
1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.
2. Disconnect the washer hose from the fitting and take it to the side.
3. Having pressed a clamp with a screw-driver, take a washer hose from the holder.
Helpful Hint: If you are removing the hood not to replace it, mark its position relative to the hinges, for example by tracing them around with a felt-tip pen.
4. Remove the hood from the stop and, while holding the hood (this should be done by an assistant), remove the four mounting bolts (two on each side) to the brackets and remove the hood.
5. To remove the soundproof upholstery, pry with a screwdriver...
6.... and remove the caps for fastening the hood upholstery.
Note: The sound deadening padding is attached to the hood with eleven clips.
7. Remove a noise-proof upholstery of a cowl.
8. Establish a cowl and screw bolts, without tightening them.
9. When covering the hood, install it so that the gaps between the hood and the wings are the same on both sides, and the gap between the upper edge of the radiator frame and the edge of the hood is uniform throughout its entire length.
10. Raise the hood carefully and finally tighten the bolts of its fastening.
