Removal and installation of a decorative overlay of a cover of a luggage carrier

You will need a socket «on 10».

1. Remove trunk lid upholstery (see «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a cover of a luggage carrier»).



2. Turn away four nuts of fastening of a decorative slip to a trunk lid.



3. After pressing the latch, disconnect the wiring harness connector for the trunk lid lock release button and license plate lights.



4. Remove the decorative trim from the trunk lid, overcoming the resistance of the two caps.

Note: This is how four pins A and two clips B are located for fastening the decorative trim to the trunk lid.

5. Remove the wiring harness seal from the hole in the trunk lid...



6.... and pull out the wiring harness with the block, remove the trim.

7. Install the trim and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
