DTC C0393 (0B)
Circuit Description
When monitoring the shunt current on the coupling coil in the clutch assembly, it is found that the current conduction exceeds a predetermined value, then the system is permanently disabled.
DTC Descriptions
The following trouble codes are processed in this diagnostic procedure:
- DTC C0393 (0B) Rear axle clutch solenoid valve control circuit (overcurrent)
Conditions for setting the DTC
To write the diagnostic trouble code C0393 to the memory (0B) all of the following conditions must be met:
- The supply voltage is greater than 8 volts, the winding current is greater than 6 volts, and these conditions persist for more than 40 ms.
- The supply voltage is less than 8 volts, the current in the winding is greater than 6 volts.
Action taken when the DTC is set
- DTC C0393 is stored in memory (0B).
- Permanent disabling of the AWD system, the AWD warning lamp is on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
- If the conditions that caused DTC C0393 to be stored (0B), no longer exist, this DTC can be cleared using the appropriate scan tool.
- A DTC that has not been stored in memory for 100 driving cycles is erased from the history data.

DTC C0393 (06)
Circuit Description
When a Pulse Width Modulation Output Duty Error is Detected (PWM) and shunt current on the coupling coil in the clutch assembly, the system is permanently disabled.
DTC Descriptions
The following trouble codes are processed in this diagnostic procedure:
- DTC C0393 (06) Rear axle clutch solenoid valve control circuit (wiring)
Conditions for setting the DTC
To write the diagnostic trouble code C0393 to the memory (06) all of the following conditions must be met:
- The output duty cycle is greater than 90% and the winding current is less than 0.1A.
- The output duty cycle is less than 10% and the winding current is greater than 3.0A.
- The supply voltage is greater than 8 volts, there is no overcurrent error, and these conditions persist for more than 2 seconds.
Action taken when the DTC is set
- DTC C0393 is stored in memory (06).
- Permanent disabling of the AWD system, the AWD warning lamp is on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
- If the conditions that caused DTC C0393 to be stored (06), no longer exist, this DTC can be cleared using the appropriate scan tool.
- A DTC that has not been stored in memory for 100 driving cycles is erased from the history data.

DTC C0394 (06)
Circuit Description
In the event of an error in the temperature signal of the clutch assembly, a substitute value is used for control (-20 degrees Celsius), and the DTC is stored in memory.

- DTC C0394 (06) Rear Axle Clutch Solenoid Temperature Sensor Circuit
Conditions for setting the DTC
To write the diagnostic trouble code C0394 to the memory (06) all of the following conditions must be met:
- Clutch temperature sensor voltage is greater than 4.5 volts and persists for more than 10 seconds.
- The clutch temperature sensor voltage is less than 0.015 volts and it persists for more than 10 seconds.
Action taken when the DTC is set
- DTC C0394 is stored in memory (06).
- Permanent disabling of the AWD system, the AWD warning lamp is on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
- If the conditions that caused DTC C0394 to be stored (06), no longer exist, this DTC can be cleared using the appropriate scan tool.
- A DTC that has not been stored in memory for 100 driving cycles is erased from the history data.

Circuit Description
Add all ROM values to check will be result of low byte "A5H".
Process when any of these errors occur: clutch controller (CCM) immediately enters Stop Mode.

- CCM controller ROM failure, low byte is not the result "A5H".

DTC C0550 (39)
Circuit Description
If the monitoring of the supply voltage before/after the relay close command detects a relay junction welding defect or a relay junction contact defect, the system will permanently shut down.
DTC Descriptions
The following trouble codes are processed in this diagnostic procedure:
- DTC C0550 (39) Operation of the electronic control controller (ECU), wiring
Conditions for setting the DTC
- On initial test, relay output supply voltage to turn off is greater than 9 volts, there is no overcurrent error, and these conditions persist for more than 1 second.
- On initial test, the turn-on relay output supply voltage is greater than 2 volts, there is no overcurrent error, and these conditions persist for more than 5 seconds.
Action taken when the DTC is set
- DTC C0550 is stored in memory (39).
- Permanent disabling of the AWD system, the AWD warning lamp is on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
- If the conditions that caused DTC C0550 to be stored (39), no longer exist, this DTC can be cleared using the appropriate scan tool.
- A DTC that has not been stored in memory for 100 driving cycles is erased from the history data.

Circuit Description
When the ECU has no IT performance adjustment data (current - torque) for each clutch, the maximum torque will be limited.

Conditions for setting the DTC
- Clutch Controller Calibration Process (CCM) not done at the factory.
Action taken when the DTC is set

Conditions for clearing the DTC
- If the conditions that caused DTC C0558 to be stored (4B), no longer exist, this DTC can be cleared using the appropriate scan tool.

Circuit Description
In the event of an accelerator signal error, torque control will be performed based on wheel speed signals and a DTC will be stored in memory.

Conditions for setting the DTC
- When the ECU controller receives an invalid signal, and this state is maintained for 500ms.
Action taken when the DTC is set

- Temporary shutdown of the AWD system, the AWD warning lamp flashes.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
- If the conditions that caused DTC C0561 to be stored (71), no longer exist, this DTC can be cleared using the appropriate scan tool.

Circuit Description
If, when monitoring the supply voltage after installing the relay, a low battery voltage and a defect in the relay junction contact are detected, then the system is turned off.
DTC Descriptions

- DTC C0899 (03) Device {single or 1} Low Voltage
Conditions for setting the DTC
- After the system is installed, the turn-on relay output voltage is less than 5 volts, there is no overcurrent error, and these conditions persist for more than 30 seconds.

- DTC C0899 is stored in memory (03).
