Withdrawal procedure
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. For HFV6 3.2L or 2.0S Diesel, remove the ECM bracket.
3. Remove electrical connector (3) input shaft speed sensor from the input shaft speed sensor.
4. Remove the screw securing the input shaft speed sensor.
5. Remove the input speed sensor from the transaxle assembly.
6. Remove the O-ring from the input shaft speed sensor. Discard the O-ring.
Installation order
1. Lubricate the O-ring of the input shaft speed sensor with transmission fluid.
2. Install a new input shaft speed sensor o-ring to the input shaft speed sensor.
3. Install the input shaft speed sensor to the transaxle assembly.
4. Install the input shaft speed sensor mounting bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the input shaft speed sensor mounting bolt to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
5. Connect electrical connector (3) to the input shaft speed sensor.
6. For HFV6 3.2L or 2.0S Diesel, install the ECM bracket.
7. Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
