- Install F1 into the freewheel outer race.
Important: Pay close attention to the freewheel orientation.
- Install thrust washer in hub B1.
Important: Apply grease to the thrust ring. Align tab on washer with notch on hub B1.
- Install the B1 hub into the freewheel outer race.
Important: Rotate hub B1 to push it into the outer race of the freewheel.
- Apply grease to the thrust ring. Align the tab on the washer with the notch on the freewheel outer race.
2. Check the operation of the overrunning clutch.
- While holding the freewheel outer race, verify that the B1 hub turns freely clockwise and locks when turned counterclockwise.
