Dismantling the rear crankcase

1. Remove the supply pipe to the underdrive clutch (C3).

• Unscrew 4 bolts and remove 2 clips from the rear crankcase.

• Using a screwdriver, remove the supply pipe to the underdrive clutch (C3).

Important: Be careful not to damage the C3 inlet tube and rear crankcase.

2. Remove the thrust bearing race and o-ring.

• Remove the thrust bearing race from the rear crankcase.
• Remove the 3 O-rings from the rear crankcase.

3. Remove the forward clutch battery (C1).

• Remove the 2 Torx screws and remove the battery cover.
• Remove the accumulator piston and spring, O-ring, and O-ring from the accumulator cover.
