- Make sure that there is no wear and burnout of the sliding surface of the disc and plate. If the disk or plate is worn or burnt out, replace them.
Important: Before replacing new clutch discs, soak in the automatic transmission fluid for at least 2 hours.
2. Remove the oil pump cover.
- Remove 14 Torx screws.
Important: Be careful not to drop the oil pump housing and oil pump cover.
- Remove the oil pump cover.
3. Remove the oil pump plate.
- Remove the oil pump plate.
- Remove the O-ring from the pump housing.
4. Remove the oil pump inner and outer gears.
5. Remove seal.
- Remove seal with a screwdriver.
Important: Be careful not to damage the oil pump housing bushing.
