Removal procedure
Attention! Raise the engine just enough to take the load off the transaxle front suspension assembly, otherwise damage to the suspension and failure of the lifting equipment may result.
1. Remove the decorative engine cover. See «Decorative engine cover» in this section.
2. Support the motor assembly using the DW110-060 motor jig.
3. Remove the pinch bolt from the transaxle front suspension support assembly.
4. Remove the transaxle front suspension retaining bolts from the transaxle assembly.
5. Remove the gearbox front suspension assembly with final drive.
Installation procedure
1. Install the transaxle front suspension assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the transaxle front mount retaining bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
Attention! Before tightening the transaxle front mount pinch bolt, move the engine assembly back and forth or side to side for proper installation.
2. Install the transaxle front mount pinch bolt assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the pinch bolt of the front suspension of the gearbox with final drive assembly to the support to a torque of 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
3. Remove engine jig assembly DW110-060.
4. Install the decorative engine cover. See «Decorative engine cover» in this section.
