Verification procedure
Attention! The fuel system is under pressure. Depressurize the fuel supply system before disconnecting fuel lines to prevent fuel spillage and burns.
1. Relieve pressure in the fuel supply system. See «Relieving pressure in the fuel supply system» in this section.
2. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail.
3. Connect the oil pressure gauge connector to the fuel rail.
4. Connect the oil pressure gauge connector to the fuel supply line.
5. Check for fuel leaks.
6. Read the pressure gauge for liquid fuel. Normal fuel pressure is 402 ~ 418 kPa (58,3 ~ 60,6 psi).
7. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.
8. Remove the oil pressure gauge.
9. Connect the fuel supply line to the fuel rail.
10. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
