Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose (PCV) from the intake duct.
3. Disconnect the air intake duct from the throttle body.
Attention! When disconnecting the throttle body wiring harness, the following precautions must be observed.
To disconnect the connector (1) throttle body harness (2) do not use any mechanical tools such as a screwdriver.
Taking away the lock (3) throttle cable connector, care must be taken not to disconnect it from the connector.
Do not pull on the connector wires.
4. Take away the lock (3) throttle cable connector.
5. Pressing the connector lock in the direction of the arrow (4), disconnect the throttle body wiring connector.
6. Disconnect the throttle body connector.
7. Remove the four screws securing the throttle body to the upper intake manifold.
8. Remove the throttle body and gasket.
Installation procedure
1. Make sure that the mating surfaces of the throttle body and upper intake manifold are clean and free of foreign matter.
2. Install the throttle body with a new gasket between the throttle body and upper intake manifold.
Tighten
Tighten the throttle body assembly mounting screws to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
3. Connect the wiring harness connector to the throttle body, making sure that the latch and the sliding latch of the connector are fully engaged.
