Removal procedure
Attention! The adsorber and vacuum hoses contain fuel vapors. Do not smoke or work with open flames in the hazardous area.
1. Disconnect the gasoline vapor evacuation hoses from the adsorber.
2. Loosen clamp and disconnect EVAP canister purge hose (SUPS) from the filter of the adsorber SUBP.
3. Unscrew the fastening nuts of the canister bracket of the gasoline vapor recovery system (SUPS) and remove the EVAP canister assembly.
4. Detach the EVAP canister from the bracket.
5. Remove charcoal filter.
Installation procedure
1. Install the EVAP canister on the bracket.
2. Install the EVAP adsorber assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the fixing nuts of the canister bracket of the gasoline vapor recovery system to a torque of 10 Nm (88 lb-in).
3. Connect the EVAP canister purge hose to the EVAP canister filter.
4. Connect the canister purge fuel hoses to the canister.
