Removal procedure
1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the upper heater hose.
2. Release the clamp and disconnect the water hose to the expansion tank.
3. Remove the water outlet (1) from the cylinder block.
4. Remove gasket (2) water outlet port to the cylinder block and discard.
Installation procedure
1. Install a new gasket (2) outlet channel for water to the cylinder block.
2. Install the water outlet (1) to the cylinder block.
Tighten
Tighten the water outlet bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
3. Connect the top heater hose to the water outlet and secure the clamp.
4. Attach a water hose to the expansion tank to the water outlet and secure the clamp.
