Necessary equipment
DW100-010 Fuel pressure gauge
Verification procedure
Attention! The fuel system is under pressure. Depressurize the fuel supply system before disconnecting fuel lines to prevent fuel spillage and burns.
1. Relieve pressure in the fuel supply system. See _ «Relieving pressure in the fuel supply system» in this section.
2. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail.
3. Connect the oil pressure gauge connector to the fuel rail.
4. Connect the oil pressure gauge connector to the fuel supply line.
5. Check for fuel leaks.
6. Read the fuel pressure gauge DW100-010. Normal fuel pressure is between 402 kPa (58,3 psi) up to 418 kPa (60,6 psi)
7. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.
8. Dismantle fuel pressure gauge DW100-010
9. Connect the fuel supply line to the fuel rail.
10. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
