Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the EGR valve connector.
3. Remove the EGR valve mounting bolts.
4. Remove the EGR valve (EGR) and remove the gasket from the EGR valve adapter.
Installation procedure
1. Clean the mating surface of the EGR valve adapter (EGR).
2. Install a new EGR valve gasket.
3. Install the EGR valve with the bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the EGR valve mounting bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)
4. Connect the EGR valve connector (EGR).
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
